Yesterday, we looked at the interesting history of the Arts Bank on the southeast corner of Broad & South. Today, we glance across the street at a big project that’s been under construction pretty much all year. When we last checked in on Southstar Lofts over the summer, the first floor had just been framed out in steel. Visiting the site yesterday, we discovered quite a bit of progress.

Sure, the building will still require many months of work before it’s finished, but it’s definitely nice to see the project moving along at this clip. In the meantime, has anyone heard anything about potential tenants for the 10,000 sqft of commercial space?
