Over the summer, we brought 1129-31 Green St., two homes being built out of cinderblocks, to your attention. In the months that followed, the builders continued doing their thing, and the homes appear to be finished.
While our commenters back in June pointed out the superior nature of the construction methods for these homes in comparison to stick construction, we would contend that the builders missed the mark dramatically when it comes to aesthetics. Sure, we’re happy to see the additional development in this growing neighborhood, but we just wish that the architects would have tried a little harder.
