We got a tip from a reader that The Dandelion, the newish Starr British resto-pub at 18th and Sansom Sts. is currently in the process of greening their corner with numerous plants, with greenery on the ground, in the windows, and hanging off the building.

According to a manager, the Dandelion changes their outdoor look on a seasonal basis, with today’s installation the winter selection. The plants come from Planetarium Living Environments, a local urban interior and exterior landscape company.

We appreciate this effort from this Center City business, which is clearly not only seeking to benefit its customers with delicious food and drink, but is also trying to improve the walking experience for passersby. And hey, a little help with storm water management, to boot!

Looks like Flower Expressions, the florist across the street, could learn a thing or two.
