We’ve been known to frequent the wonderful Pub and Kitchen at the corner of 20th and Lombard Sts., and several weeks ago, noticed a construction project nearby at 1942 Lombard St.

Fishtank Architecture, who we last heard from on a project on 4th St. in Northern Liberties, is undertaking a complete renovation of the building’s facade. It’s a pretty significant transformation, the likes of which we’re not really seeing around this neighborhood.

The owners of this property are surely excited that their home is getting a facelift, and we’re glad to see a little design creativity in the Rittenhouse/Fitler neighborhood.

And here we thought they were already so cool for living so close to the pabbit.
