The old Gulf Oil Company headquarters is now the Chelsea, a 10-story condominium marble-and-limestone building. Unit 300 at 1515 Locust Street stood out to us, probably because, as our credit card company will tell you, we have a refined taste far above our means. Laurie Phillips of Prudential Fox & Roach told us Unit 300 is a 2,225-square-foot three-bedroom, three-bathroom with custom Bulthaup kitchens with Gaggenau, Miele, Bosch and Sub Zero appliances that probably clean themselves; two elevators; a fitness room; a pre-wired sound system; and a gas fireplace. We are a big fan of open kitchens and natural light, and this kitchen is the perfect combination of the two. Everything looks perfect, however the bathrooms, judging from the photo, seem to me a bit . . . plain. Beautiful tub and marble, but the cabinets, lighting, mirrors and eggshell walls remind me of something that wouldn’t be $1,225,000. —-Caitlin Connors
