Almost two years ago, we told you about the ongoing renovation of a building behind a tarp on the 1500 block of Manton Street. At that time, the facade of the building next door was, well, plywood.

In the past

The other day, when we were investigating a new home on this block, we passed by the site again and noticed that 1535 Manton St. looks pretty much the same, but very different. Also, the tarp next door is long gone.

Current view

Sure, a new house would be preferred. But it definitely looks better here than it used to, right?
