Congrats to Greensaw Design & Build and Brendan Jones for an awesome finished project at 1205 S. Eighth Street (although our opening party invite must have been lost in the mail). This rehabbed South Philly row home used a variety of reclaimed materials and came out looking spectacular. Jones’ collected architectural salvage that he couldn’t use in other projects, bought and completely gutted the Italian Market home and began pushing the boundaries to test features like shower skylights, a third-floor cathedral ceiling and oak-floor trim in the bathroom. The home is outfitted with salvaged sinks, bathtubs and pine wainscots and now stands as a showroom for Greensaw’s work. On December 17, 2010, Elizabeth Solms and Giguliano Pignataro bought the property for $325,000. (Click through for lots more photos.)
