Last fall, we told you about plans for a new home at 427 Poplar St., which had been an overgrown lot for several years. At that time, formwork had just appeared and foundations were on the way. When we passed by last week, we realized that the home is finished. Architecturally, it seems to fit in pretty well with other new construction in the neighborhood. The fence that's been built, however, is something new.

Kind of gives the home a bit of a rugged, outdoorsy look, right? And it's certainly preferable to a boring wood or vinyl fence. What do you think?
