About six weeks ago, when we last visited the 1600 block of Ogden Street, Citi Properties LLC was in the process of building two duplexes here. In case you can’t picture it, this block is all vacant lots on the south side of the street, and has plenty of vacancy on the north side as well. But times are changing here, slowly. The other day, we spotted yet another duplex going up here, at 1617 Ogden St.

Another duplex rising

This is another project from the same developer who built the first two properties. And they own another one on the block too, which means that at least one more building should be going up here very soon. As for the south side of the street, that might take a little longer- but we’re confident it will be developed eventually.
