Over a year ago, we told you about plans to renovate 1355 N Front St., which was at that time both vacant and rough looking. Located right next to the El, this former distillery was to become a mixed-use building, with apartments located above a commercial space of some kind. As you can see, the building is looking much better these days.

If you look carefully, you can probably make out a liquor application in the window. Doing some digging on the PALCB website, we found two names on the application are involved in Pitruco Pizza. Could more pizza be coming to Fishtown? Stay tuned.
