We've had plenty to say about the growth of Frankford Avenue over the last several years, with construction and new businesses appearing up and down the corridor. Just last week, we told you about plans for a retail location for the Kensington Community Food Co-op where Frankford hits Lehigh Avenue. Nearby, a renovated storefront at 2527 Frankford Ave. is waiting for a tenant.
As you can see, the folks who own this property have converted a residential unit into a commercial space. In addition, they've repainted the building, making it stick out pretty dramatically. We'll be interested to see what kind of tenant they're able to attract and how long it takes. Do you like the paint job, or think it's a little too much?
