Our friends at Brewerytown Living gave us the heads up about a new construction project going up at 31st and Baltz Sts. in Brewerytown. The foundation has been poured and things seem to be moving along.
The developer, Steph-Sin Development, has done a couple of other houses on this block and is currently finishing up a new property at 747 N Uber St., seen in the image below, taken from their Facebook page. We’re not hearing that the new house on 31st St. will have a garage.
The new house will offer three bedrooms and three bathrooms, and will be the only house on the north side of Baltz St. fronting 31st St. Whoever ultimately buys this property will, when they walk out their front door, see Brewerytown Square townhomes to the north and someday, the new supermarket to the west.
After years of stops and starts, and lots of waiting on Westrum, it seems that this intersection is about to take the next step. So toss around the football or the frisbee over there while you still can, because this area’s gonna look all kinds of different in the very near future.
