A reader tipped us off about this building, located at the corner of Bailey and Jefferson Sts. The M.G. Schweiker building, originally built by the roofing company that called it home, is a 5200 sqft. building that sits on a double wide lot that is currently on the market for $80K. As you can see from the photo, it’s a mess; and apparently the owner of the property intends to tear it down in the coming weeks if a buyer does not emerge. We’d love to see someone come in and purchase this property and return it to its former glory, but we’re not sure anyone will be able to move at that price in that location. Let’s hope the sellers reduce the price some and that a creative visionary swoops in to preserve this building’s good lookin’ bones.
