What formerly housed antiques has now been renovated as Mama’s Wellness Joint, a women and family-centered wellness center. This establishment found a spot in one of Philadelphia’s historic neighborhoods, at 1100 Pine St., which contained Maranca’s Antiques for many years.
According to the website, Mama’s is a small business devoted to providing prenatal & postpartum yoga, birth education, holistic lifestyle education classes, and massage space. Founded by Paige Chapman, a native Philadelphian as well as a Yogini and Doula instructor, it appears that the business has gained a dedicated following and is now ready to be housed in a more permanent location.
With its slogan,”a supportive community of health, love, birth and beauty,” The business is sure to draw those seeking quality care for new mothers and those hoping to gain a more holistic health care experience in Philadelphia. And with plenty of strollers to be found in Wash West, Society Hill and Bella Vista, there should be no shortage of customers to attract in the area.
The space is freshly painted and the establishment will be open for services starting this Thursday, October the 5th with programs starting on Friday. See you there?
