We were in the neighborhood today, skulking around the less-traveled streets, and stumbled upon these two homes, currently under construction in Northern Liberties. Located at 924-26 N Leithgow St., these new homes are immediately adjacent to the Seedy Acres Community Garden.

These homes sit on 18’x43′ lots which were each purchased by developer Zion Land Lp for $142K. The new homes were listed in February for $499,900. According to the listing, these are 2500 sqft homes with 3 bedrooms, and 2.5 bathrooms. The rendering below accompanies the listing, but it’s got to represent an earlier design iteration. The listing boasts garage parking, and the framed structures certainly seem to indicate a garage (or two) in the works, but the rendering shows no such thing.

On a largely private, rather quiet street, surrounded by peaceful greenery, we suspect these homes will sell in short order. Considering some other projects currently underway and some others that we know are in the works, there will soon be many more new construction homes on Leithgow Street. But we’ll fill you in on those details in the days and weeks to come. In the meantime, enjoy one more look at the homes that are furthest along on this stretch, and the garden next door.
