We’ve heard that the long-vacant retail space at 1708 Chestnut Street has finally been leased. The sliver of a space squeezed between Dressbarn and Sephora is slated to become Laila Rowe, a trendy women’s jewelry and accessories store not unlike Nova Ice, located down the block at 1508 Chestnut Street. Laila Rowe sells shoes and apparel in addition to its jewelry, which has been featured in Lucky and Glamour. E-mails to the leasing agent at PREIT have gone unanswered, but we will update you with additional details as they become available.
